It’s sunday and we decided to stay home. Reason being Alex has a lot of writing to catch up on, and I stay with him and did some planning for future traveling and museum visits. Since nothing super excited happen in the day, why not an exciting meal for the evening.  So I started with the prepping and Alex did the fire works.

Rinse Rinse Rinse, Chop Chop Chop…

Onion, Shallot, Garlics, potato, and tomato. Ingredients to rinse, chop, or cut

Thin Strip Onions

Same for the Shallots

Same for the Potatoe

Thinly sliced garlics

Throw potatoes strips with shallots, onions and garlic in sizzling pan!!

Cooked until it magically turns in to golden color 🙂

While potatoes are cooking, why not bring the lamb out, rinse, dry and season. Then load them in heated pan!! “SZZZZSZZ” (I love that sound!)

Flip Flip Flip. When they are about done to your liking, splash in some wine!! We ran out of wine this time so we use whisky.  Hmmmhmmm… Unload lamb from pan. So now we have some nice juice from the lamb and whisky!

Green beans and white asparagus are veggies for the night! Pre-cook them in boil water for a minute. Drain and rinse with cold water. Season with S.P.O.

Now throw your veggies in to the same pan with the lamb juice. Toss toss toss…

Remember your tomatoes? Go ahead and half them, season with S.P.O., aside

Layer from bottom to top, golden potatoes strips with shallot and onions, garden tomatoes, Lamb chops, white asparagus and green beans.

Tada!! Everything done in 40 minutes. To tell you the truth, I’ve been craving lobster all day for some weird reasons. But Alex decided to make lamb and it just turned out so perfect!!  C’est yumolixious!
